ENGLISH PROPER MEETS WESTERN HOSPITALITY!
Paul Burrell: Former Butler to Her Majesty the Queen of England and Diana, Princess of Wales joined Bruno's on March 6th 2008.
Bruno's Guest of Honor, Paul Burrell demonstrated, via his Royal Manner line of furniture the diverse influences of his service(21years) and how the different palaces and English countryside cottages, inspired this COMFORTABLE YET ELEGANT line of furniture.
Paul Burrell started out the event by sharing with our customers how tea is traditionally served. There were tea table settings for our guests and we all enjoyed tarts, cucumber sandwiches and "THE QUEEN'S" favorite tea - Earl Grey(some chose cream and sugar with their tea). Paul Burrell shared different "quips" and experiences that he spent in the Queen's service(10 years). He then became the footman for Diana, Princess of Wales until her demise(11 years).
That same evening was spent with Paul Burrell and our guests enjoying cocktails and hor dourves while they participated in a signing of Pauls recently published book The Way We Were, Remembering Diana. Paul also spoke about his time with Princess Diana and shared many anctedotes and interesting experiences with Princess Diana.
His closing statement was "I am a very humble man with extraordinary experiences".
